Hogel Zoo

We headed down to Utah about a week ago for a follow-up appointment with Bindi's eye doctor. While we were down there we decided to make a trip to Hogel zoo. We had a blast! I couldn't believe how big the zoo was. Bindi was really interested in all the animals. At every enclosure she would point in excitement and occasionally ask, "what's that?" By the time we got in the car she was ready for a little snooze. But, before we left we let her get her favorite animal from the zoo. She chose the fosa.

Happy 4th of July!

Fourth of July was so much fun! We all got together at my parents house for food, fun, and fireworks. My dad even rented misters so that we wouldn't die of heat stroke! Bindi was quite fascinated with the fireworks I thought she would be scared of them, but boy was I wrong. My dad also set up the pool in the driveway so the girls could have a swim to cool off, which came in handy. Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!

This is why I hate the sun...

So as many of you know, I am white... in fact very white. My husband likes to call me casper. For this very reason I decided that today while Bindi was taking her nap that I would treat myself to a little sun... maybe get a little color. People, I stayed out there for only 30 minutes and THIS is what happens! No your eyes are not playing tricks on you, only the front parts of my legs got color, and red is NOT the color I was going for. So for future references I cannot tan and that is why I choose to remain white. Thank you.

A couple days ago Tavia and I packed up the girls and took them swimming. They had SO much fun. Bindi is quite the little fish. When it was time to go both of the girls were very sad.

Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's day was wonderful. I woke up to a wonderful breakfast provided by my husband and was also allowed to sleep in. Brandon and Bindi got me some really nice cookware from pampered chef! Brandon, Bindi and I went to church with my mom and then we all had a family dinner at my mom and dads house. It such a nice day and we took lots of pictures. I love the ones of me and Tave with each-others little girls, too cute! Happy mothers day everyone.

The other day I was in the kitchen, and as many of you with kids know, when it gets quiet you either grab your camera or the vacuum. I chose to grab my camera and this is what i found. Bindi loves our little dog charlotte! She loves to play with her nails for some odd reason, but today she just wanted to lay next to her. She is such a sweet little girl.

Aunt Tavia, Uncle Clint and Preslee got this for Bindi for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. Aunt Tavia even put a bow on the front of it to make it more girly!
And Grandma and Grandpa got her a shopping cart, which she loves to fill up and then push over!
And this is what mommy and daddy got her for her birthday. Now I know some of you may remember that I swore I would never buy my kids things that made noise (because I hate noise, especially annoying songs that repeat themselves over and over) but I did. That right there is love!
and this is Bindi's lawn mower from Uncle Tyler and Aunt Tippy she loves to crawl push this across the floor and she has some weird fascination with the red button which makes a noise like its filling a gas tank. And Bindi now growls like a Tiger.
