All things Kru

Ok, so my pediatrician was asking me all sorts of questions about Kru and I found myself talking his ear off about things I think are "SO CUTE" that I know he didn't really need to know. So I want to make sure I get them on here so I don't forget. Kru is 20 months and is the love of my life!

     * he is 29lbs of solid boy (thats only 1 lb away from his 4 year old sister!)
     * He only has 4 teeth
     * He is a climber and LOVES to climb on anything and everything (our kitchen chairs have to be
hidden in the bathroom because he climbs on top of them and gets on top of the table)
     * This kid is obsessed with trucks, cars, planes, anything with wheels.
     * My favorite thing he says right now is, "wow" and he says it in a whisper.
     * Other words he says are, "da dee" (daddy), mommy, sissy, dad dog (bad dog), goburt (gogurt),
bye bye, see ya, noooo, ny ny, ba ba, peas (please), tank you (thank you) hot gog (hot dog) nana
(banana) pissa (pizza), carrrrr (he also does really good car sounds :)
     * Kru loves to go outside and play in his truck and line up his cars on the patio, when we make him
come inside he has to bring ALL of his cars with him.
     * He is SUPER stubborn and if he doesn't approve of something he makes sure that we are all
        aware of it.
     * He thinks Bindi is the funniest person ever and LOVES to climb in her bed.
     * He slides down the stairs on his stomach, like a penguin.
     * He is OBSESSED with closing All the doors in the house. He sometimes closes them from the
wrong side and gets stuck in a bedroom.
     * If he sees a drink with a straw in it he MUST have it! many tantrums are thrown for my diet coke.
     * His favorite thing to do with daddy is sit in the front seat of dad's truck and play with the steering
wheel, windshield wipers, windows, radio and blinkers.
     * his favorite food is meat, really any kind, but he really really likes ribs.
     * He has not gone to nursery even once because apparently the umbilical chord is still attached.

                                                              Trouble

                                                               more ribs
Pinkies up! You know, just to keep things classy.
                                                Loves his cars track!
Like I said people, he is the love of my life!

My Kru Boo (late)

Kru was born on May 10th 2011. He had the darkest hair and had the cutest little lips. He looked nothing like Bindi, which shocked me for some odd reason. Kru has brought our family so much happiness! I had no clue how much fun a little boy would be. He is constantly on a mission and is always climbing on things, hence why he constantly has bruises. He still doesn't have teeth, yet he insists on eating big kid food such as hot dogs, chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, shredded cheese and whatever else he can get his chubby hands on. We love this little boy more than life itself and are so thankful to have him in our family.

Brandon and I got him this super cute truck and he LOVES it!

We thought that for sure he would love his cake...
boy, were we wrong, he hated it!
Happy Birthday Sweet boy, we love you!

My little girl is 4

Happy Birthday to our sweet Skinny Binni!

Ok, I am well aware that I am late once again in posting, but better late then never. Bindi is the funniest little girl I have ever met. She is way too smart and we often joke about how we are going to have to go to her chess meets and debate meets. She loves anything involving animals. She is a little book worm and loves to sit with books and pretend to read. She also has the most amazing memory. She remembers things that happened when she was 1 and can also recall places we have been to when she was very little. If we read a book to her 2 times she can almost remember all the words. She can also memorize a song like nobody's business, which isn't always convenient. Currently her favorite songs are, Ring of fire and cry, cry, cry by Johnny Cash and where did you sleep last night by Nirvana. I wish I could say twinkle twinkle little star or Old McDonald was in there somewhere, but lets face it... its not. She can frustrate me to no end and my mom tells me that its because she is EXACTLY how I was when I was little. She talks non-stop and always has something to say. She loves pre-school, but hates sunbeams (probably because they don't break out the johnny cash songs) She is a Daddy's girl and basically has him wrapped around her skinny little finger. Speaking of Skinny, Bindi weighs 27lbs and has the skinnest little bird legs ever. Her favorite foods are pizza, carrots, baby corn, olives, rice, cheese and strawberries. Some exciting news is that she finally ate her first hot dog at the age of 4! Ok, Ok enough of that here are a ton of pictures as always.

Taking a picture of me, taking a picture of her.
So grown up, and so annoyed that I am taking pictures of her.

Bindi, Ian, Preslee, Kenzie and Lauren eating their pizza.
Grandpa on the tramp with all the kids.
We had bought this container of ladybugs and released them at her party. It was a HUGE hit!
Bindi ready to whack the pinata.
All the kids racing to get their candy.
Showing off their loot! (Uncle Brandon may have gone a little crazy on the candy)

Grandpa and Bindi have the cutest relationship!

She crashed hard after her party. Happy birthday sweet, crazy little girl.

Update post

Brandon and I celebrated our 6th anniversary on January 7th by going to Claim jumpers and eating WAY more than we should have. We also went and bought stuff to decorate our master bedroom (finally) It was a super fun night and I am so thankful to have such an amazing husband.
Kru got his first bloody nose at 9 months. Now, you may find it odd that I need to document this, but the kid has a death wish. He climbs on EVERYTHING and constantly finds his way to the tile and tries to stand. Lets face it, the kids really wants stitches.
He is also a huge fan of nudity.
At 9 months Kru weighs 22lbs 2 oz. He has no teeth. He is the fastest crawler I have ever seen. He says "Dada" and constantly has a smile on his face. He goes to bed at 5:30 and gets up around 2:00 for a bottle and then goes back to sleep until 6:30 ish. He already loves toy trucks and anything that has wheels on it. He loves to bug his sister when she is quietly playing in her room and he also demands to be in the kitchen directly behind my legs whenever I am in there.
Bindi is an amazing big sister! She loves to read to Kru (even when he is trying to eat the pages) She loves it when he comes into her room to play "cook" She will pretend to cook something and then she gives it to Kru who shoves it into his mouth. If he slobbers on something of hers she hands it to me and says, "eww gross this Kru slimed it!"
At 3 Bindi weighs 27lbs and is the skinniest little thing. Her favorite food is cheese pizza. She LOVES animals, has an amazing imagination. Right now her favorite movies are, ice age dawn of the dinosaurs, despicable me and Up. Her favorite thing to do is art. give the kid a bottle of glue and some pom poms and stickers and she is good. She is learning how to read and is VERY smart. In fact, I think she is too smart for her own good. She loves preschool and goes 3 times a week for an hour and a half. She is a total Daddy's girl. She goes to bed at 7:00 and gets up around 6 or 6:30. She sleeps with 372 stuffed animals and if one of them falls off the bed in the middle of the night she will come and wake us up to tell us (ugh)
Bindi's first Sunday as a Sunbeam. She said it was boring and they didn't have any toys. She is not a huge fan of sunbeams so far. She likes singing time and I have been told that she sings as loud as possible can
Bindi now has a boyfriend whom she loves very much. At first the love wasn't mutual...

but soon it grew. I can already see these pictures on their wedding announcements!
I RAN(yes ran) My first 5K with some amazing girls. this was the before picture
after picture. It was so much fun
And to Brandon's dismay both Penny and Charlotte are still alive.
I know this was a very random update, but well its been almost a year since I last updated and I am going to try to be better!

Our newest memeber

Ok so here is the story.
On May 9th I went into see my Dr. I was having a lot of pressure and was really uncomfortable. Once he checked me out he found that I was 80% effaced and dialted to a 2. He decided to strip my membranes and said if I was ready my body would do the rest. When Brandon got home from work we ran to Target got a bottle stand and picked up some pjs for the hospital for me. We also stopped by Sam's club and picked up some fresh pineapple. I woke up at 1am and noticed I was having some stomach pains. I laid there and tried to get comfortable and then realized it wasn't just a stomach ache, I was having contractions! I woke Brandon up at 2:00am and had him start me a bath. We timed my contractions and they were 3 minutes apart. I laughed because my sister's birthday is on the 10th and I told her if I had my baby on her birthday I was returning her present. I called my mom and she rushed over to stay with Bindi while we ran to the hospital. I was so worried it was going to be false labor, but Brandon rushed me out the door. We arrived at the hospital at 3:00 am and they hooked me up to the monitors. after an hour they checked me and I was at a 3 and my contractions were pretty strong. It was official I was in active labor! They moved me up to the room where I would be delivering and let me walk around to help my labor progress. My contractions were getting stronger and stronger and at 5 am they decided to recheck me. I was 100% effaced and at a 4 almost 5. They called for my anesthesiologist and when he arrived I was very happy to see him! He gave me my epidural and right as he was giving it I started to have a huge contraction (which just about did me in.) About an hour later I was laying in my bed cracking jokes with Brandon and I looked at him and said, "I think my water just broke." He laughed and said, " what do you mean you think?" I said, " well I can't tell considering I can't feel much." So we paged the nurse and she came and sure enough my water had broke." My Dr. came in shortly after that to check me and let me know that he was there. The nurse told him that the as they checked I was a 5 so she was thinking I would probably be around a 7. My Dr. looked up at me and said, " wanna have a baby?" I said, "heck yes? How soon?" He informed me that I was at a 10 and the baby was already on his way. I could not believe how fast things went. 2 Contractions and 6 pushes later my beautiful baby Kru came! I opened my eyes and they laid him on my chest and I could NOT believe it! I watched Brandon cut the cord and I just sat there in complete awe. With Bindi everything was so fast paced and scary, but with Kru I was able to take in every second and actually enjoy it. My Dr. and I cracked jokes and I watched them get Kru all cleaned up. He weighed 7lbs. 2 oz and was 18 inches long. They brought him back to me and laid him on my chest and I just laid there and enjoyed every minute of it. He didn't look anything like Bindi, but he looked just like his daddy! Brandon and I sat there and just stared at him, we couldn't believe he was here. Shortly after that my dad came (very convenient to have your dad work at the hospital you give birth at.) My dad got to sit and hold him for a while and then my mom, Tavia and Bindi came. Bindi could have cared less and was more worried that she was going to have to leave Grandma's side then she was about her new little brother. Shortly after that they moved me to my room and got us all settled. I begged my nurse to please take the iv out of my hand... and after a few threats of me pulling it out myself she agreed. We got to go home the next day.
I have to tell you I was really worried about having a little boy. I was also worried that I wasn't going to have that instant connection that I had with Bindi. But, I have to tell you, the connection was there and I am loving having this sweet little boy. So far he is an excellent sleeper. I feed him at 12:00 before I go to bed and then I have to wake him up at 3 am to feed him and then he will sleep until about 6! He loves to be held. He has a constant scowl on his face and has lots of black hair ( I swear he is yours Brandon). And now I will stop with the blah blah blah and show you how stinkin cute this kid really is.
